Michigan 
Licenses/Permits
The Michigan Gaming Control Board requires certain casino employees as well as certain employees of gaming and nongaming suppliers/vendors to obtain an occupational license. The board's Administrative Rules outline three levels of licensing.
Level 1 License: This type of license is required for all casino employees in management and supervisory positions. This license may be required for some gaming supplier/vendor employees.
Level 2 License: This type of license is required for all employees in money handling positions or who have access to the casino floor or back-of-the-house operations. This license may be required for some gaming supplier/vendor employees.
Level 3 License: This type of license is required for all service personnel, such as beverage servers or housekeepers, who work in the gaming areas, or anyone else the board deems should hold a license.
